China Textile Import and Export Chamber of Commerce on January 13 revealed that in December 2016, the negative pull in the garment, the Chinese textile and apparel exports fell again, and the larger the decline. In RMB terms, exports fell 6.7% year on year, of which exports of textiles rose 0.1%, while clothing exports fell 10.6%.
The latest statistics show that China's total exports of textiles and garments in the year 2016 fell 1.7% year-on-year decline, including textile exports grew 1.9%, clothing exports fell 3.9%.
According to the analysis, China's textile and apparel exports in 2016 the main reasons for the decline include the following aspects:
First, the main export market economic recovery is slow, weak external demand, foreign trade increased pressure;
Second, the external environment is unstable, the impact of export uncertainties increased;
Third, textile production costs continue to increase, the traditional advantages of further weakening;
Fourth, the transfer of industries and products leading to China's textile and apparel products in the main market share gradually narrowing;
Lastly, the prices of export commodities fell by a large margin.
Industry experts pointed out that the current external situation facing China's textile industry is still complex, uncertainties in the development of the industry is still more. Increasing pressure on resources and environment, rising costs of production factors and increasingly complex patterns of international trade, these are the steady growth of China's textile industry constitutes a certain pressure. But at the same time, China's textile industry's huge production capacity and export scale, complete production system and industry support for the development of the industry provides an important support. "Along the way all the way" to promote the building, but also for the textile industry to develop the international market and stabilize market share to create favorable conditions.

The pre-fall 2017 collections serve up the need-to-know trends that will be shaping your summer wardrobe. From homespun decoration, to Seventies-inspired graphics and the trouser shape to wear now, your inside guide to next season’s trends starts here.
Kitsch graphics
Prada’s Formica florals are destined to carry over for the latter half of 2017. All eyes are on geometric Seventies graphics and cartoonish animal prints. Cast in a retro colour palette of ochre and autumnal browns.
The ‘Uber’ trouser
Welcome the new, extra-long trouser hemline: Bad news for the commute, but very flattering on shorter legs. Budget your autumn investment carefully though: wearing the pant that pools about the ankle will increase your Uber expenses. You have been warned.
Upscale utility
Switch khaki and pinstripe cotton for Versace’s mulberry fatigues, and note Chloe’s combat pants, the new standard in sharp daywear has a crisp, military edge. The designer name to drop now? New York label Adam Lippes.
Scarlet and fuchsia
Alessandro Michele’s beloved colour pairing is big news for pre-fall. Embrace the clash: according to Valentino, Stella McCartney and Delpozo, the brasher your shades, the better.
Homespun decoration
Gucci, Valentino and Dior are set to champion luxe-handicraft this year (think Seventies crochet knits, offbeat appliqué, and patchwork). Unless your big investment piece looks hand-crafted, it now won’t do.
The power knee high
It’s time to abandon the sexed-up thigh high boot – this Autumn, as a demure mood sweeps in, we’re switching to the sassy evening knee boot instead.
The sharp blazer
Unapologetically angular, the new wave of business-minded blazers by Hermès, Christopher Kane and Stella McCartney are edging cocktail tailoring off the agenda. Extra marks for opting into corporate grey, or cappuccino.
Look-at-me hoisery
Where opaque tights were once the safe option, this year hosiery has had a rainbow makeover. Look to Fendi, Givenchy, and Creatures Of The Wind and do any shade but black.
The volumised day dress
Oversized proportions aren’t going anywhere for autumn. Blow the budget on an oversized floral smock dress now (we love Preen, Altuzarra and Public School) to beat the rest of the pack.
1. Headline act
Forget the ironic slogan cap; this summer, windswept hair needs little adornment other than a fisherman hat. Rummage through Rokit to find vintage Fila numbers, or debut Miu Miu's sequin-embellished bucket.
2. Belt up
Switch your cross-body for a belt bag - and wear super cinched at the waist, or over one shoulder. Gucci's is the prize, but vintage styles produce a similar effect. The added extra? A checked lumberjack shirt.
3. Be a wallflower
Sportswear has had its time in the sun (and rain, for that matter). Time to channel Goldie Hawn in full Seventies Shampoo mode. Chloé has the modern update on off-the-shoulder florals in soft blues and browns, otherwise trawl vintage shops for wallpaper prints you can show off over Spandex leggings.
4. Pose and expose
Ponchos and practical nylon cover-ups will always have a place in the festival-goer's wardrobe arsenal - but why obscure your finely constructed outfit? Pack a transparent vinyl raincoat instead - all the better to show off the vintage floral dress underneath.
5. The ear's the thing
Get ready to master the new decadent mood: accessorise every outfit with super-sized earrings, rather than hair garlands or glittery eye-make up.
6. Go undercover
A parka is a festival mainstay - and Valentino's nineties camouflage is something worth investing it. Wear it with a tea dress for day, and pack striped knitwear for cooler nights - extra points for camo trousers.
