Breathable antivirus clothing is a kind of skin protective equipment that can penetrate air and moisture, but can prevent toxic gases, droplets, bacteria and radioactive dust from causing harm to human body. It has many functions, such as antivirus, breathable, heat dissipation, high temperature resistance and flame-retardant, anti-detection camouflage and so on, so that the physiological properties of human body are obviously improved. The early breathable antivirus clothing originated in the United States in the 1920s, when the US military impregnated the disinfectant with chlorinated paraffin, forming an absorptive protective suit that could react with the agent and eliminate it. However, the protective clothing has a strong selectivity for the adsorption of the agent. It also has some irritating effect on skin, unstable property and corrosion effect on fabric, which affects the service life of clothing. After nearly a century of development, relatively mature breathable antitoxic clothing has been developed in various countries, most of which are adsorbed by activated carbon, but this kind of adsorptive material also has non-selective adsorption, so it has poor protection performance against large toxic agent droplets, and is easy to produce secondary pollution and other problems. Therefore, in recent years, various countries have been committed to the development of new materials and new technologies.
A trade war between China and the United States provides more opportunities for Vietnam's exports to the United States. Affected by the Sino-US trade war, Chinese companies began to plot Southeast Asia, including Vietnam, overseas markets. Vietnamese clothing exports to the United States reached $12.4 billion in the first 11 months of 2018, up 9 percent from a year earlier.
At the beginning of the Sino-U.S. trade war, the textile industry in Vietnam was very worried that Chinese clothing exports to the United States would drop sharply, which would result in a sharp drop in China's imports of cotton yarn from Vietnam. But so far, the Sino-American trade war has not had a negative impact on China's exports of Vietnamese cotton yarn. Vietnam's cotton yarn exports to China are expected to reach 780000 tonnes in 2018, up 9% from a year earlier, according to Vietnam Customs. At the same time Vietnam textile industry at home and abroad investment continues to increase.
Vietnam's yarn exports are expected to be 1.45 million tonnes in 2018, up 7% from the same period last year, including about 1.05 million tonnes of cotton yarn. China, South Korea and Turkey are the largest importers, accounting for more than 80% of Vietnam's cotton yarn exports. Vietnam cotton yarn exports to Turkey were reduced by China, South Korea completely offset. Vietnam will continue to expand cotton exports to these three countries on the basis of its geographical, cost and FTA advantages.
Vietnam's cotton imports are mainly man-made fibers, cotton yarn imports are small, indicating that domestic cotton yarn supply is more and more adequate.
